Wet weather approaches later today, followed by a cooling trend.
Most of the daylight hours Wednesday stay dry with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 60s. A cold front brings rain this evening, fading overnight with lows in the upper 40s. A rumble of thunder can't be ruled out.
A few showers could return Thursday and/or Friday. Otherwise, just look for some cloudiness with highs around 60° Thursday and only in the 50s Friday.
This weekend will be quite cool and dry with lows in the mid-30s Saturday morning and highs in the mid-50s. Sunday is milder with mid-60s after near-freezing lows in the morning. Areas of frost are expected across the region each morning this weekend.
Monday warms up even more into the lower 70s. Showers and storms could develop Monday night and Tuesday.
