Just one point away from failing for one Mexican restaurant
HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -
The good news continues for a lot of restaurants being inspected this week in Hamilton County. All of the scores were very high. There is not a failing grade, but there is a restaurant that came really close to failing with a 70. It's no joke on this April Fool's day. Remember, a failing grade is any score lower than 70.
If you like Mexican food they need a lot of help at Cancun Mexican Restaurant. The inspector found food products that were spoiled in the walk-in cooler and an odor was coming from a stopped-up floor drain. Speaking of the floor, it needs repairing, kitchen equipment needs cleaning (especially underneath) and lights were not covered over food items in the prep area. They serve up a disappointing 70.
