Good Tuesday. If you can stand the heavy levels of tree pollen, today will be a great one to get outdoors and enjoy some springtime Tennessee Valley sunshine. Skies will be sunny and temps will be hover around 67 for the high.
Tonight will be clear with plenty of stars. We will be cool heading through the overnight with temps dropping into the low to mid 40s. By Wednesday afternoon we will have warmed quite a bit to 71 under partly cloudy skies.
Thursday we have a front that will move in, bringing clouds and a few showers during the morning hours. By Thursday around lunchtime, we will have thunderstorms moving through that could produce heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds. I don't expect tornadoes or damaging straight line winds, but we will keep a close eye on Thursday weather. Even with the storms, we will still manage a high in the low 70s.
Friday, low pressure will move through during the morning, bringing scattered thunderstorms in for drive time. By late morning, skies will begin to clear, and it will be a warm, pleasant afternoon with a high Friday of 73.
The weekend looks amazing. Saturday and Sunday will have cool starts in the 40s. The afternoons will be great with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s.
