CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Chattanooga firefighters quickly saved a vacant home on South Willow Street tonight.

The fire began around 7 p.m. in the 1300 block.

Bruce Garner, spokesman for the Chattanooga Fire Department, says firefighters were able to put out the blaze in less than 15 minutes, keeping most of the damage to the first floor.

No one was seriously injured; however, Garner says one firefighter was taken to a local hospital for heat exhaustion.

The cause of the fire is unknown and being investigated.
