WHITFIELD COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -

A crash on I-75 north in Whitfield County sent five kids to hospitals Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. near mile marker 332.

The Georgia State Patrol says a Nashville woman, traveling with five children, somehow ran off the road and hit a guardrail, causing the SUV to roll over.

Two of the children were thrown from the SUV.

All five children were taken to two separate hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. Photos from a viewer show at least one of the crash victims was flown from the scene.

The GSP says investigators are trying to figure why the woman ran off the road.

Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
