UPDATE: Woman's body found in Marion County identified

UPDATE: Marion County Sheriff Bo Burnett tells Channel 3 that they have identified the woman's body found on a bank of the Tennessee River earlier this week.

Ollie Frizzell was reported missing by her son March 14. Frizzell's age has not been determined, but she is beloved to be 54-55 years of age.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.

PREVIOUS STORY: A death investigation is underway in Marion County after a woman's body was found by two fisherman this afternoon.

Sheriff Bo Burnett tells Channel 3, the woman was found on a Tennessee River bank near River Canyon Road around 12:30 p.m. CST.

He says the woman is believed to be in her late 40's to early 50's; however, her body has not been identified.

The Sheriff says foul play will not be ruled out until an autopsy is complete.

The body has been sent to a crime lab in Nashville for that autopsy.
