Posted: Updated:

Polk County K9's Zora and Tango and their handlers have been busy the past couple of weeks making drug arrests.

On March 11th, Deputy Henderson and his K-9 partner, Tango performed a traffic stop on Chanceytown Road in Ducktown. The duo found Elijah Witherow and Bethany Walls to be in possession of 3.5 grams of meth, half ounce of marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia. The meth and marijuana found were pre packaged for what appeared to be for resale purposes.

About a week later, Deputy Price and K-9 partner, Zora found Kenneth J. Carroll of Cleveland in possession of 23 grams of meth, pills, digital scales, $1700 in cash, hypodermic needles and a stolen 380 handgun out of Hamilton County, during a traffic stop in Ocoee.
