Good Monday. It is a cold start to the spring season. Temps in the 30s this morning will climb only to the mid 50s this afternoon. Skies will be sunny all day.
We will chill back down tonight. Lows will drop to the mid 30s in Chattanooga while outlying areas will drop to or below the freezing level Tuesday morning. After the morning hours, we can expect southerly winds to warm us up a bit. Highs Tuesday will reach the mid 60s. The winds will blow from the south at 10-15 mph, and skies will remain sunny, making it a pretty remarkable day tomorrow.
Wednesday should be nice overall. Lows in the morning will be in the 40s with highs in the 60s. We will see clouds building through the day, but little to no chance for rain Wednesday.
A cold front will press through Thursday. As it does, it will bring a line of thunderstorms to the area during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Some of the storms could be strong. They will clear out late in the day as the high reaches the mid 60s.
Friday should be a wonderful day. We will have plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid 60s once again.
The Easter weekend is looking questionable. I do think we will see rain showers on Saturday. The latest models have them late in the day, but the timing I am sure will change between now and then. More rain is on tap for Easter Sunday, but again, when is still up in the air. Temps will stay warm over the weekend in the upper 60s and low 70s.
