UPDATE: The automatic fire alarm was activated at 2:03 a.m.
The first firefighters on the scene were able to see the smoke through the windows, and forced entry. They began to extinguish the fire with portable extinguishers, but as the fire was inside the wall and beginning to spread they used a hose to make sure the fire was completely out.
No injuries are reported.
The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental, and appears to have started near stored firewood.
