UPDATE: Driver in GSP chase, search identified

WALKER COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -

A Georgia state trooper's attempt to make a traffic stop Sunday morning led to a chase and search for at least one man in Chickamauga.

It started around 9:40 a.m. in Walker County.

The GSP says a trooper was attempting to pull over two men; however, the driver, 38-year-old James Robert Taylor, decided to run, leading to a pursuit.

The chase ended on South Highway 341 at Taylor Broome Road, where Taylor ran from the scene.

Troopers and Walker Sheriff's deputies searched the area for about two hours, eventually finding the him around 11:40 a.m.

Taylor was taken to the Walker County Jail.
