St. Patrick's Day weather looks great!

Posted: Updated:

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The weather looks perfect today with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 70s (normal high for Chattanooga today is 64°). Skies become partly cloudy overnight with seasonable lows in the lower 40s.

A few sprinkles can't be ruled out Friday, with a shower south of the city. Otherwise, look for partly cloudy skies and cooler highs in the mid/upper 60s. Conditions get cloudier Friday night with spotty showers and lows in the upper 40s.

Have an umbrella and heavier clothing handy for the weekend. There's a decent chance for a few showers Saturday with one or two also on Sunday. Highs only reach the 50s with lows in the 30s by Sunday morning.

Dry weather returns next week! With light winds and lows near/below freezing, areas of frost are expected Monday morning. Look for plenty of fair skies Monday-Wednesday with highs in the 50s to start the week. Then highs warm to the lower 70s by mid-week.
