Good Tuesday. We are off to a cool start with temps in the 40s and low 50s. There will be areas of dense fog developing through the morning. This afternoon, however, a warm front will pass through the area. Behind that front, we can expect south winds blowing from 10-15 mph. That will pump in lots of warm air, causing our high temperature to reach about 83 degrees. The record for today's date is 86 set in 2012.
Wednesday we will start with a few clouds and a slight chance for a sprinkle or two in the early morning hours. Most of the day will be nice, though with sunshine and cooler weather in the afternoon. Wednesday's high should get to about 75.
We will continue the cool down Thursday with a high of 72. Friday will only get to 69. We should have plenty of sunshine both days.
The weekend will be another level cooler. Saturday will start with a low of 42, and the high will only reach 61 (the average high is 64). Sunday will be the coolest day of the forecast with the morning low kicking things off at 39, and the high struggling to get to 60. I am forecasting 59 for Sunday's high. Yesterday it looked as though a weather system would move through Saturday night into Sunday morning. Now it looks as though that system will stay a little to the north. We may still see a spotty shower or two in our northern counties Saturday, but the chance is small at this point. Any change in the path of that system could cause us to bring weekend rain back into the forecast. We will keep an eye on it.
