UPDATE: The body of a man missing from Dalton has been found.
Dalton officials have confirmed the body found in Walker County Wednesday is that of 40-year-old Jeremy Kephart.
Kephart was last seen Tuesday March 10, at the Walmart on Shugart Road.
Officials say foul play is not a factor in the death.
The Dalton Police Department is looking for Jeremy Douglas Kephart, a 40-year-old who has been reported missing to police by his family.
Kephart was last seen on Tuesday morning about 8:00am at a Walmart on Shugart Road, according to DPD spokesman, Bruce Frazier.
Police say he was driving a white Dodge Neon with Georgia license plate QAY8203. Kephart was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, a dark colored hooded jacket, dark shoes with white soles, and a white ball cap, possibly with a Georgia Bulldogs logo.
Kephart is 5’7 tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Kephart’s family believes that he may be in danger. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to please contact Dalton Police Dept. Detective John Helton at 706-278-9085, dial 9 and enter extension 143.
