Troopers in Chattanooga spotted the car around 4:00pm and Caldwell again refused to stop.

A total of 15 cars were damaged during the 18-mile chase, including two THP patrol cars.

One THP trooper slammed his patrol car into the suspect's vehicle, forcing Caldwell to crash into the concrete median near the East Brainerd Road exit.

Caldwell was taken into custody and charged with 12 new counts, in addition to the charges he will face in Nashville. He has since been extradited back to Nashville.
