CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

It was a big night for some senior artists at Ooltewah High School Friday.

Eight students had some of their best pieces on display at Chattanooga WorkSpace.

It's all part of the Future Artist Showcase.

Channel 3 caught up with Brent Dyer, who was one of the featured artists. He had nine pieces at Friday night's show.

He talked to us about the kind of work that went into one of his favorite pieces on display.

"Each individual pixel is a thumbtack," Dyers explains about the piece. "So, I took 2200 thumbtacks, and I painted each of them a different color and arranged them to look like Norman Rockwell's Eagle Scout drawing."

The exhibit runs through March 25.
