OOLTEWAH, TN (WRCB) -

Multiple students in Hamilton County were arrested Friday, as officers and school officials are cracking down on the recent rash of threats.

Here are the arrests and details of each:

A student was arrested at Ooltewah High School for writing a threatening message on the bathroom wall.

Matt Lea, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, says a girl was arrested for a message she allegedly wrote on the bathroom wall, saying she was going to shoot students at the campus.

The message also referenced a message left on the boys' bathroom wall earlier this week.

The student was charged with false reporting, four counts of simple assault, and disorderly conduct.

She was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Unit.

Another student was arrested at East Ridge High School this morning for assaulting a teacher.

Matt Lea says the same student was also overheard saying he had a gun at home that he planned to bring back to school to shoot the principal, a teacher and student.

Deputies never found a weapon.

The student is charged with simple assault and harassing threats.

He was also taken to Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Unit.

A third student was arrested at Washington Alternative School.

Lea says this student is accused of leaving a note on the floor that said he was going to shoot the school in general with the majority being teachers and members of school administration.

Deputies eventually found the student responsible.

He's charged with false reporting and simple assault/threats. Additional charges may be pending.

Of course, he, like the other two, was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Unit.
