Good Friday! After a rainy/snowy Thursday, we will see our weather take a considerable turn for the better this weekend.
Today we are looking at a cloudy start with maybe a drizzle or flurry lingering for a few hours. As we make our way through the day, skies will clear a bit. This afternoon we will have a partly cloudy sky and it will be much warmer than yesterday. The high will reach 53.
Warmer weather will keep moving in over the weekend. We will have cool mornings with lows near 40, but the afternoons will be nice. Saturday we will climb to 64. Sunday we will manage a high of 63. Skies will be mostly sunny both days.
Next week we will get even warmer. By Tuesday and Wednesday we will have highs in the low 70s. We will have clouds moving back in, but a blocking area of high pressure just off the coast will keep all the rain to our west.
Thursday that high will shift east, allowing the rain to migrate into the Tennessee Valley Thursday afternoon. We could see some thunderstorms then as well.
