Good Thursday. Warm weather, cold weather, rain showers, snow flurries? We may see it all within the next 7 days.
Let's start with today. we will eclipse yesterday's high of 45 as we shoot up to 53 for a high today. We will also have clouds building ahead of an area of low pressure to our west. As that energy gets closer, it could bring one or two showers this afternoon, but the best chance for rain from this system will be in the form of scattered rain showers overnight into Friday morning. Lows tonight will drop into the low 40s.
Friday we will start with some morning showers, but they will taper off by late morning as the low pressure pushes out to our east. Friday's high will reach 54.
Skies will be mostly cloudy Friday night into Saturday morning, but we will see little to no rainfall during that time period. Saturday afternoon the high will reach 58. We will have another front approaching Saturday afternoon that will also bring in lots of clouds and a few showers. We will have some widespread rain overnight into early Sunday morning as the front moves through.
Sunday is interesting. The morning low will be about 41 degrees. The daytime high will be 42. The high will be registered in the early morning as well. Cold air behind the front will be moving in throughout the day, and that will mean temps falling through the 30s through Sunday afternoon. Some residual moisture behind the front may even allow for a few mountain snow flurries Sunday afternoon.
Temps will continue falling into the mid-20s by Monday morning. Next week will be much cooler. Highs will stay in the 40s and lows will be in the 20s at least through Thursday. It looks like we will be rain and snow free next week.
