Man hit by a train in Dade County

DADE COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -

According to Dade County Sheriff, Ray Cross, Stewart Murphy, 72, was walking on train tracks on his way to church on Saturday morning.

Police said Murphy stepped on the wrong side of the tracks and was hit by a train. 

Murphy was flown by LifeForce to a local hospital and suffers from a severe leg injury and lacerations. There was no update on his condition.
