A chilly start to the year

Posted: Updated:

Good Friday and happy new year!  We are off to a chilly start with temps in the 30s this morning.  We will stay cool all day with an afternoon high of 47 degrees.  Clouds will continue to stream in through the early afternoon, but we will see  no rain with them.  By late this afternoon skies should begin to clear a bit.

Tonight we will get even colder.  Lows will drop into the upper 20s.  It will stay chilly through the weekend.  Highs will hover near 50 and lows will remain at about 30 through Wednesday.  Thursday and Friday of next week will see some clouds and warmer weather ahead of our next front.  Highs will climb into the mid to upper 50s both days with lows getting to near 40.  We may see next Friday as our next best chance for rain.

Good Thursday.  We have another bitterly cold start today with temps in the low to mid 10s this morning.  Fortunately, our winds are fairly calm this morning so wind chill won't be as much of an issue heading out.
