Good Monday. I will go way out on a limb, here. I am going to go ahead and call the chances of a white Christmas nil, nada, zero. If you are dreaming of a warm and rainy Christmas, though, we may be in business.
Today we will have scattered showers on and off through the day. Rain will be likely tonight and heavy at times. We won't see any severe weather but the rain overnight could be heavy at times. The high today will reach 57 degrees.
Tuesday, the heavy rain will taper off through the morning, but we will stay cloudy and we could still see a few spotty showers on and off Tuesday as well. The high Tuesday will get up to 66.
Your travel weather mid-week will be even warmer and wetter. Highs Wednesday and Thursday will be in the low 70s with lows in the low 60s. Cloudy skies with on and off rain will continue both days.
For Christmas day, we will start with a low of 60. Skies will be cloudy. We will warm to 73. The best chance of widespread rain looks like it will take place in the afternoon and evening, but a passing morning shower certainly can't be ruled out.
I think we may dry out a bit this weekend. Most of the energy will be migrating north, but skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy, and right now, I am going to leave in a slight chance for a shower or two both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be in the mid 70s. Sunday will cool a bit into the upper 60s.
