UPDATE: The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity member accused of rape says his accuser consented to sex

In a response to a civil lawsuit, the man accused of rape says he did not force the woman to drink and she “initiated and communicated a desire to engage in voluntary sexual activity”.

The response, filed on December 4 in federal court, denies any wrong doing and accuses the woman of libel and slander.

The response also asked the judge to require the alleged victim to appear before a judge and require her to pay all the defendant’s attorney fees and court costs.

The woman's attorney, Michael Sawicki, says the defendant should be held accountable for "lying to police", saying the defendant originally denied any sexual activity with the woman to investigators.
