The scores continue to soar at the Hamilton County Health Department. Actually, there are too many high scores to pass along this week at Hamilton County restaurants and other businesses in the area.
The hard work is obvious these days and I say congratulations! But as usual, we always give you the low score of the week. I just go through the weekly file at the Health Department and look for that score which this week isn't too bad at 85.
On Cherokee Boulevard, you'll find Mike's Hole in the Wall. They were found having two violations. One raw eggs were being stored on top of ready-to-eat food in the cooler. The other violation was chemical bottles in the kitchen not being properly labeled. On a side note, the health inspector did write on the form that employees were doing a great job with hygiene and cleanliness.
If you have complaint about a pool, restaurant, health care facility, or day care, even the place where you work out, call the Hamilton County Health Department Hot Line at 423-209-8110. Someone will personally handle your complaint, weekdays between 8:00am - 4:00pm. Have a great weekend, and enjoy your meal!
