Good Friday! Record warm air is still slated to move in this weekend. Today will be warm enough. Skies will be cloudy with a slight chance for a stray sprinkle and a high of 69, 16 degrees above average. Clouds remain with us tonight as the low drops to 56 (the average HIGH is 53).
Skies will actually clear a bit Saturday. It should be a wonderful spring day. The high will reach 73 degrees, besting the record high of 72 set in 1931.
Clouds build back in Sunday with a sprinkle here and there. We will come close to a record once again with a toasty high of 71. We would have to get to the 1927 high of 72 to tie the record.
A cold front will approach Sunday night. It will bring a line of rain to the area early Monday morning. A few thunderstorms may develop as well, but the chance for any severe weather in our area looks very slim right now. At this point it looks like the rain will move through between 6am and 9am Monday morning. I would expect .50" to 1" with some heavy rain at times Monday morning.
The rain will clear out by late morning, and temps will at least recede a little. The high Monday will get to 65. The low Monday night will drop to 42.
