Good Wednesday. An approaching front will wash out over the Tennessee Valley. It will bring us increasing clouds through the afternoon with a spotty shower or two late this afternoon into this evening. The clouds will keep us a few degrees cooler than yesterday, but it will still be mild with a high of 58.
Tonight skies will clear late, and we will be much warmer heading into Thursday morning than this morning. You will wake up to lows in the mid 40s. The sun will return, and we will have a pleasant high of 62. We get even warmer Friday with some clouds moving in and a high of 67.
Saturday will start with an incredibly warm low of 55 degrees. Skies will be mostly cloudy, but a strong surge of warm air from the south will blast us into the low 70s in the afternoon. I am forecasting 71. The 1931 record is 72.
Sunday will be just about as warm with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance for a shower. Sunday night into Monday morning rain will be likely as a front moves through. We will see heavy rain at times and I expect about an inch around the area.
Monday afternoon we will cool back down a bit with the high falling back into the upper 50s.
