CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

A two-vehicle crash Wednesday night claimed the life of one of the drivers.

Chattanooga police say that the crash at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Foust Street took place about 10:15pm near East Lake Courts.

A Ford Freestar driven by Martez Woods, 28 was making a right-hand turn onto 4th Avenue from Foust Street when the vehicle was struck by a southbound Ford Ranger pickup, driven by Juan Perez.

Perez’ truck then continued south, going into the northbound lanes and struck several brick columns before coming to a stop.

Police say Perez succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.
