Cold and dry heading into the weekend

Posted: Updated:

Good Thursday.  The rain is gone, but creeks and streams continue to rise as the water runs off.  There are still some FLOOD WARNINGS in effect.  For most, however, the weather focus this morning is the colder weather.  Temps this morning are in the 30s.  Skies will be sunny all day with the high only climbing to about 49.

Friday will start off even colder.  We will start the day at 32.  Outlying areas will drop into the 20s.  It will be cool all day Friday with a high of 53.

The weekend will sport chilly morning lows in the low to mid 30s with more mild afternoon highs.  Saturday will climb to 57, and Sunday we will warm up to 59.  The average high this time of year is 55.

A preview of next week shows Fairly mild weather with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.  Each day will see a mix of sun and clouds with the only real chance for rain being Monday with a 20% chance for a sprinkle.
