The wet weather is causing some minor issues in parts of the Channel 3 viewing area. We called the 911 communications center in each county. Some areas have been affected by the heavy rains, while others have not. 

Here's a county-by-county look at your area, according to 911 dispatchers:

  • Hamilton County - rising water levels impacting the following roads: 400 block of Valley Brook Road, 5500 Grub Road, 5300 Hunter Road, 2800 Corral Road, 600 Boy Scout Road, Roberts Mill at Dayton Boulevard.
  • Bledsoe County- standing water on a few roads. Use caution.
  • Bradley County - nothing to report.
  • Catoosa County - nothing to report.
  • Dade County - nothing to report.
  • Grundy County - standing water in low areas.
  • Marion County - high water levels in the "usual areas."
  • McMinn County - high water levels in the "usual areas."
  • Meigs County - standing water in most of the county.
  • Murray County - nothing to report.
  • Polk County - nothing to report.
  • Rhea County - Traffic is being diverted from Highway 30 east near Highway 302 due to rising water. Standing water on other roadways.
  • Sequatchie County - flood warning until 11pm CST.
  • Walker County - downed trees in various parts of the county.
  • Whitfield County - high water reported in several areas including Walnut Avenue, Waring Road, Westbrook Road, and Andrea Court.
