Posted: Updated:

A joint investigation by Special Agents with TBI's Human Trafficking Unit and deputies with Madison County Sheriff's Office in Alabama has resulted in the arrest of a Chattanooga woman on a charge of promotion prostitution.

A two year investigation conducted by TBI Special Agents, with the assistance of the Chattanooga Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations, executed search warrants Tuesday at a home at 608 Valley Bridge Road and an apartment at 936 Mountain Creek in Chattanooga. Officers with the Madison County Sheriff's Office in Alabama executed five search warrants in Madison County related to the same investigation.

The evidence found from both investigations during the search warrant resulted in the arrest of Myung Kim, the owner of Royal Spa, which operates in Madison County, Alabama.

Kim, 61, was arrested and charged with one count of Promoting Prostitution. She was booked into the Hamilton County Jail.
