Continued warming through the weekend
You should have no trouble traveling over the river and through the woods.
Good Wednesday. You should have no trouble traveling over the river and through the woods. The entire eastern United States will be warm and dry through Thanksgiving. The Tennessee Valley will see highs today in the upper 50s. 58 will be the high in Chattanooga matching yesterday's maximum temperature.
Thanksgiving Day will be even warmer. We will start the day in the low 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy as we warm to about 65 in the afternoon.
You should have no problems for your Black Friday shopping, either. We will see more clouds, but no rain. Temps will be mild as you're standing in line in the morning. Look for a low of 49 in the morning. I expect it to climb to 66 in Chattanooga in the afternoon.
The weekend will start with cloudy skies and a slight chance for a passing shower. Highs will stay in the mid 60s. The rain chance will increase a bit Sunday as a front dies out over the Tennessee Valley. We will see a few light scattered showers, but I don't expect much (if any) accumulation. The high should reach about 60 Sunday.
