UPDATE: Police investigating motorcycle jacking, robbery and truck theft

UPDATE: Chattanooga police have released photos of the suspect in the attempted theft of a motorcycle.

The suspect, a white male, was accompanied by a white female. She fled the scene in what appears to be a white sedan. The vehicle has what police refer to as a "drive out tag."

The male suspect stole an unoccupied truck from a nearby gas station and also fled.

Police ask that anyone with information on this crime to please call 423-698-2525.

Chattanooga police were called to 5904 Lee Highway around 11:45 am on a reported disorder with a weapon.

The victim told Channel 3 that a man came into Frida’s Hair Salon to inquire about his motorcycle. 

An argument followed and the victim was injured in some way. 

The suspect then ran out of the salon and stole a car from across the street. Police are actively searching for the suspect.

There’s currently a heavy police presence at the scene. The call was dispatched as a disorderly conduct with a weapon involved.
