A two month joint investigation into a reported aggravated assault and burglary of a residence that took place in the Hunter Road area in September, culminated in the arrest of Jeremy T. Pettway, 25, for a litany of felony charges relating to the September incident, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

Pettway was arrested without incident in the city limits of Chattanooga. The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division.

Kirkwood has remained incarcerated in the Hamilton County Jail since his arrest in this case.

Jeremy Pettway was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail on charges of: Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm with a Felony Conviction,
