Tyler Enix due in court on murder charge for killing ex-wife
Enix waived extradition to Tennessee and was booked Nov. 13 into a Knox County jail and held on $1 million bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday for a Knoxville man charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of his ex-wife.
Tyler Enix, 36, is due in Knox County General Sessions Court to face charges he killed Kimberly Enix, 36, and fled with their 2-year-old daughter, Brooklynne Emerie Enix.
Kimberly Enix’s body was found Oct. 28 in her Fountain City condominium during a welfare check. Her daughter was missing.
An Amber Alert was issued for the toddler, and less than 24 hours later she was safely recovered and her father taken into custody by an Ohio sheriff’s deputy.
