UPDATE: Winds and heavy rains battering the TN Valley
A wind advisory and heavy rains in the Tennessee Valley could lead to some downed branches and isolated areas of flash flooding.
UPDATE: Gusty winds will be likely across much of the area and especially in some of the higher elevations this afternoon and evening. Overnight the winds will die down. Rain will be ending tonight and skies will start to clear after midnight as drier air moves in. Thursday will be quite pleasant with sunshine and highs in the mid 60's. Thursday night will be cooler with low 40's expected and just a few clouds. Friday will very nice with highs near 60 and more sunshine.

Highs will be near 60. Much colder air will follow the front as it moves by Saturday night. Lows Sunday morning will be near freezing with 20's away from the city. Highs on Sunday with sunshine will be in the mid 40's. Lows Monday morning will be in the mid 20's with highs on Monday near 50. The sun will shine Monday through Wednesday.
