DeKalb Co. Drug Task Force and others seize 5 lbs. of Ice Meth

DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WRCB) -

The DeKalb County Drug Task Force, Marshall County Drug Task Force, and DeKalb County Deputies went to a residence on County Road 482 in the Painter community to execute a search warrant, according to a release. 

After a search of the residence they found 5 pounds of pure Ice Methamphetamine with a street value worth over $205,000, two long guns, a pistol, $8077 in cash, surveillance equipment and 1 vehicle was seized from the residence. 

Marty Glen Taylor, 41 of Painter was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Illegal Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia. 

Sheriff, Jimmy Harris released a statement about the great work authorities have done, 'Our Task Force is doing an outstanding job not only in our County but working with other Counties and Agencies as well. This is why it has been made possible for them to seize this much Ice Methamphetamine."
