Officers arrested Juanita Chappell, 34, after an assault at a homeless camp on Chestnut Street over the weekend.

According to court documents, police were called to Chestnut Street to reports of a woman with a head injury. The victim told police she was hugging a friend when Chappell hit her in the head with the blunt side of an axe, injuring her head and knocking out several teeth.
