Typically these stylists with Great Clips give buzz cuts at their shop. Sunday they were at American Legion Post 95.
“We hope that more people would come in, and support the cause,” said Tiffany Gorham, stylist.
While some cut, others appealed for more heads.
“We’ve probably done about, I say 10 to 15,” said Gorham.
Every dollar given helps Post 95, so they can help our vets.
“We go out to the community and we assist individuals that need help around their homes, and this is what we are really looking at is veterans that need assistance,” said Jerry Norton, Commander, American Legion Post 95.
They hoped to make a thousand bucks, they fell more than a hair short. But just like a healthy scalp they hope to generate more growth.
“Well we appreciate everybody coming out, and we look forward to seeing all the veterans on Wednesday. Come out and see us, and we will be ready for you,” said Gorham.
Great Clips raised $245. They hope to do it again next year. This Wednesday all vets get a free cut at any great clips location for Veterans Day.
