Not-so-happy meals at one McDonald's

Posted: Updated:

The good news continues for a lot of restaurants being inspected this week in Hamilton County.

All of the scores again are very impressive. There are even perfect scores in this week's folder. I'm just trying to find creative ways to pass along the good news for those eating out. Again, I have noticed very high scores among some of the Hamilton County school cafeterias.

There is not a failing grade on this Friday, but there is a 75. Remember, a failing grade is any score lower than 70.

Ronald McDonald is not clowning around with this score of a 75. The McDonald's on Browns Ferry Road has a few problems that need correcting in the kitchen. Inspectors found some food not being stored at the proper cold temperature, prep tables in the kitchen were not cleaned and sanitized, utensils were not being properly cleaned and finally -  how about insects in the kitchen? They serve up a 75.

If you have a complaint about a pool, restaurant, health care facility, or day care, even the place where you work out, call the Hamilton County Health Department Hot Line at 423-209-8110. Someone will personally handle your complaint weekdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Have a great weekend and enjoy your meal!
