Mocs Finish Fall Play at Roberta Alison Fall Invite

TUSCALOOSA, AL ( -- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team wrapped up fall action with the final day of the Roberta Alison Fall Classic Saturday.  The Mocs won three of six doubles and four of seven singles to close out the tournament.

"I was really proud of how the team competed this weekend," stated UTC head coach Jeff Clark.  "We had some tough competition but competed well.  This will definitely give us some confidence heading into the spring."

Senior Alison Storie and freshman Delaney Edwards won both of their doubles and a singles match today.  Junior Rachele Gazzola and freshman Mckenzie Barco also had a doubles win. 

Senior Katie Polk won her singles flight with today's victory, while freshman Sydney Patton also had a singles victory. 

UTC will be back in action in January when the spring singles completion begins.  Be sure to check back to for the release of the full dual match schedule.
