Cool and dry today, cloudy (and scary) for Halloween

Posted: Updated:

Good Friday!  We have great fall weather to welcome in the weekend.  Highs this afternoon will only reach the low to mid 60s with sunny skies.  The weather for the football games will be perfect, dropping through the 50s under clear skies.

Saturday will be cool as well starting with a low of 44.  Expect low pressure moving in from the west to push in clouds through the day.  The afternoon high will reach 66.  Heading out to collect candy during the evening, it will be cloudy with temps in the upper 50s.  I am keeping the rain chance low, however.  I would give it about a 20% chance for a stray sprinkle.

The rain chance will increase dramatically Sunday.  Low pressure moving through will keep the chance of rain high all day Sunday.  Temps will range from 57 in the morning to 65 in the afternoon.

Monday we may see a few morning showers lingering, but skies will begin to clear late Monday allowing the temperature to climb to 70 degrees.

Next week looks dry and pleasant with highs in the low to mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

Good Thursday.  We have another bitterly cold start today with temps in the low to mid 10s this morning.  Fortunately, our winds are fairly calm this morning so wind chill won't be as much of an issue heading out.
