GA wildlife officials seek art for hunting and fishing licenses
SOCIAL CIRCLE, GA (AP) - Georgia wildlife officials are holding a contest to select new artwork for the next hunting and fishing license card.
The contest is open to anyone and the winning design will be put on the next plastic hunting and fishing card from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
The department says the artwork should feature an element of wildlife conservation in Georgia. The art should feature any wildlife that is legally hunted or fished in Georgia and is native to the state.
The artwork may be prepared electronically, in acrylic, in watercolor or in colored pencil. It must be unsigned and scaled to fit the dimensions of a credit card.
Artwork must be mailed to the department's wildlife resources division and received no later than Nov. 30.
