Collegedale police arrest thieving duo after chase

COLLEGEDALE, TN (WRCB) -

Collegedale Police were dispatched to a theft that occurred at a business on Apison Pike, Thursday. 

As officers were arriving on the scene, an officer saw the suspect's vehicle driving south on Ooltewah Ringgold Rd. 

The driver refused to stop for police. 

A vehicle pursuit ensued on Ooltewah Ringgold Rd. to the 2400 block, where the driver and passenger finally pulled into a driveway and were taken into custody. 

When searching in the car police found, stolen hunting knives, tools, along with various crack pipes and drug residues. 

The driver, Bradley S. Gribble, has been charged with theft of property (conduct involving merchandise), felony evading, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

The passenger, Susan Rae Crow, was also charged with having unlawful drug paraphernalia. 

HCSO assisted Collegedale police with the vehicle pursuit.

    Chief David Roddy took about two dozen people on a tour of the department's Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC).  RTIC was unveiled back in March. It's a place where investigators can monitor real time cameras, review video footage and store digital data.
