Alabama pot-growing bust lands man in jail
Members of the Jackson County (AL) Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit seized 49 mature marijuana plants, marijuana packaged for resale and drug paraphernalia from a home in Woodville, AL.
The Thursday bust resulted in the arrest of Charles Edward Harrigan, 61. He was charged with trafficking in cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies found growing marijuana plants, some of which were drying and some were inside the residence.
Harrigan was taken to the Jackson County Jail and bond has been set at $20,500.
