One more day of sunshine, then weekend clouds

Posted: Updated:

Good Friday!  We will have one more day of sunshine with a warm high of 79 degrees.  Clouds will begin to move in ahead of a front late tonight.  That will keep our morning low a little more mild at 56 Saturday morning.  Skies will be mostly cloudy through Saturday helping the high to recede a little down to 76 degrees.

A front will wash out over the area Sunday and Monday.  Both days lows will be warm in the low 60s.  Highs will be a little cooler in the low 70s.

Tuesday we will see another front pick up moisture from an area of low pressure that will be absorbing some of the energy from what will be the remnants of Hurricane Patricia in the Pacific.  That will bring us some showers Tuesday afternoon with rain likely from this system Tuesday night into Wednesday.  Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will stay in the upper 60s.

We should begin to dry out toward the end of the week.  Cooler air will also settle back in.  Thursday we will only reach 64 with clearing skies.  By Friday, we will have sunshine with a low starting the day at 45, and the high reaching only 61.

Hurricane Patricia is the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Pacific Ocean, and will be impacting the Mexican coastline with devastating effect this afternoon into tonight near the resort areas of Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, and Guadalajara.
