KNOXVILLE (News Sentinel) -
Alabama week is here. This time Joshua Dobbs is warmed up.
For the past two seasons Tennessee has gone into the Alabama game with someone else starting at quarterback. Dobbs’ uniform was as pristine as it was on opening day.
In each case, Dobbs finished the Alabama game — and the rest of the season.
In 2013, he made his collegiate debut as a freshman in the second half of a 45-10 loss to the Crimson Tide after Justin Worley was hurt. He was the only other healthy quarterback on the roster.
