One Chattanooga brewery has dirty hands and more

HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -

The good news continues for a lot of restaurants being inspected this week in Hamilton County.

Looking through the files at the Health Department, not only are restaurants hitting the high scores but schools, churches and  day care centers are doing fantastic. Also, there is not one failing grade this week, but there is a 78. Remember, a failing grade is any score lower than 70.

The Chattanooga Brewing Company on Chestnut Street needs a little help in their kitchen. Inspectors found a lot of problems when it comes to employee hand-washing. Also, some of the equipment in the kitchen needs a good cleaning like the outside of the ice maker, the dishwashing area was not being maintained and there were no thermometers in the cooler.

If you have a complaint about a pool, restaurant, health care facility, or day care, even the place where you workout call the Hamilton County Health Department Hot Line at 423-209-8110. Someone will personally handle your complaint weekdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Have a great weekend and enjoy your meal!
