Sister wants missing brother to come home
Sherry Johnson says it hurts to know her brother is out there somewhere, but can't be found.
“He has a huge heart,” said Sherry Johnson, sister.
It’s hard for Johnson to hold back tears when talking about her brother, who was last seen moving into a new home on Sunday.
“He was wearing a black tank top, baggy blue jeans, light blue tennis shoes Jordan’s,” said Johnson.
Johnson says Stewart, who is 33 years old, always kept in touch with family. It’s odd not to hear from him.
“No family, friends, seen him since 12 o' clock Sunday, and that's just not like him,” said Johnson.
Soddy Daisy Police spent Wednesday evening searching the area. The search turned up no new leads.
“They searched the woods, couldn't find him, that's about it. Just nothing,” said Johnson.
Police say they are following up on leads and keeping an open mind when it comes to the circumstances of Stewart’s disappearance. They are asking anyone with information to come forward. Sherry Johnson is making this plea.
“Please come home, call us, something just let us know you're ok,” said Johnson.
Police say once they've finished following up on the leads they are working they will release additional details to the media. For now, this case has the undivided attention of the Soddy Daisy Police Department, which wants to hear from you if you know anything about where to find Brian Stewart.
