Good Monday. Expect some areas of dense morning fog heading off to work this morning. As the fog burns off we will have mostly sunny skies through the early afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds will build in tonight ahead of a cold front. That front will bring scattered showers and maybe a few non severe thunderstorms overnight. Right now the timing looks to be between 2am and 4am. A few remnant showers may linger into Tuesday morning drive time, but by late morning skies will be clear, and it will be sunny and breezy with highs again in the mid to upper 70s.
Wednesday through Friday will be a little cooler. Lows will be in the upper 40s and low 50s with highs in the low to mid 70s. Skies will also be sunny for the second half of the week.
Late Friday, another cold front will move in. It will likely not produce any rain, but it will give us another chilly shot of air. Saturday will start with a low of 50, but the high will only get to 69 degrees. Sunday the low will drop to 43 in Chattanooga with lows falling into the upper 30s in outlying areas. Right now I can't completely rule out areas of frost Sunday morning, though I don't expect anything widespread. The high Sunday will only get to 65.
