Baylor/Brainerd/GPS leadership exchange students continue their meetings that began during the 2013-14 school year. The students toured the GPS campus Wednesday, followed by a roundtable discussion with Dr. Autumn Graves of GPS and Dr. Charles Mitchell of Brainerd. The participants discussed problem-based learning strategies to help improve social justice in the Chattanooga community.

The leadership students will meet at Unum, Brainerd, and be involved in community projects that will support our community during the course of the 2015/2016 school year.

Last week, Unum Executive Vice President Steven Zabel announced the company would extend their Unum scholars program to Brainerd students involved in this leadership exchange program. The program will allow Brainerd students the opportunity to job shadow and then be hired by the company once they finish college.
