CHATTANOOGA, TN  (WRCB)  -- The now 6th ranked Chattanooga Mocs resume their Southern Conference football gauntlet Saturday afternoon at Finley Stadium with a familiar foe, Furman University's Paladins.

Tuesday at his weekly media briefing, Mocs Head Football Coach Russ Huesman had high praise for the Paladins' program.

Huesman says fans shouldn't read too little into the Paladins' 3-2 overall record, noting Furman's tough start this season.

"They have played a monster schedule, two FBS schools, they won one of them against Central Florida, played Coastal Carolina, who are one of the best teams in the country," noted Huesman.

Mocs' Left Offensive Tackle Corey Levin concurs with his coach's synopsis. " Last year they had a lot of injuries which caused them to not have the season they probably hoped for," said Levin. " But you know, if you're playing the Furman Paladins you're playing a good football team."

Kickoff is at 1:05pm from Davenport Field at Finley Stadium.

The game is set to be televised by ESPN3.
